Hi {{first_name|there}},
Ever asked an AI for a poster and got "GRAND OPNEING SLAE"?
Canva says its new image model fixes that, and it's open to every Canva user.
Here's the prompt to use, and how to edit what it makes.
PLAY OF THE DAY
Make a social post with readable text in Canva
Last week, Canva launched Craft, its first image model built in-house.
Before it draws anything, Craft makes a plan: where each object goes, how big it is, what matters most, and what the text says. Then a second step draws the image.
Canva trained it on designs made by people (posters, social posts, presentations, menus) instead of photos.
Canva says that means sharper detail and text you can read.
Find it. Open Dream Lab in the panel on the left. Craft is available to all Canva users.
Canva's other AI image models are staying, so Craft sits alongside them.

See what it makes. Images up to 2K resolution, in about 30 aspect ratios, so one idea can become a square post, a story or a banner.
Write your prompt in any language, and put text on the image in 55 languages.
Write the prompt. Tell Craft exactly what the text says, in quotes, and what matters most. Paste this into Dream Lab:
A square Instagram post for Maple Street Bakery, announcing fresh sourdough every Saturday. Headline, large and centered: "Sourdough Saturday" Small text at the bottom: "Saturdays, 8 AM to noon" Style: warm and friendly. Leave plenty of space around the headline.Swap in your own business, offer, headline and bottom line. For the style, try clean and bold or minimal.
Keep the headline short. Fewer words means fewer letters to get wrong.
Edit what you get. If one part needs changing, Craft can edit just that part and leave the rest alone.
Want to move things around yourself? Use Canva Magic to turn the image into a layered design, with pieces you can move and change.
Check it before you post. Canva hasn't said how many Craft images each plan includes, and the quality claims come from Canva.
On the public DesignArena leaderboard, Craft debuted in fourth place, behind three OpenAI models. The text comes out better and still needs a proofread.
Read every word, and check it at phone size.
Save the prompt once. Keep a copy with your brand colors and style already filled in. Next time you need a post, you only change the headline.
YOUR NEXT MOVE
Open Dream Lab, paste the prompt with your own business and a short headline, and generate one post.
Then read every word at phone size before you share it.
Until next time,
Chris, Bizziology AI
