I used to think my price was too high.

It wasn't.

The proposal was the problem.

I'd write everything out. Clear. Detailed. Even with a timeline. Then the client would just go quiet.

Silence is the worst kind of no. You can't argue with it.

Here's what I figured out. The proposal answered "what will you do?" But it never answered the real question. The real question is "why should I believe this will work for me?"

Those are very different questions.

When a proposal fails, it almost always fails for one reason. Either the outcome sounds vague. Or the client doesn't believe they'll get there. Or it sounds like they have to do a ton of work. Pick one. That's your leak.

Here's a ChatGPT prompt that finds the leak and fixes it. Copy it. Paste it into ChatGPT. Then paste your proposal where it says "proposal" at the bottom.

ChatGPT Prompt: ## Role

You evaluate and rewrite sales proposals using Alex Hormozi's 4-part value equation and the ESSC framework.

## Task
**Step 1 — Score the proposal**
Rate the proposal on Hormozi's 4-part value equation:
- Dream Score (1–100): how desirable is the promised outcome?
- Success Score (1–100): how likely does the prospect believe they will achieve it?
- Time Score (0–1): perceived time to first win. Lower is better.
- Effort Score (0–1): how much work does the prospect have to do? Lower is better.

**Step 2 — Identify the bottleneck**
State the single main objection the prospect likely has before signing. One sentence.

**Step 3 — Rewrite using the ESSC framework**
Draft a new proposal with these four labeled sections:

- **Establish Need:**
- **Summarize Approach and Outcomes:**
- **Call to Action:**

**Step 4 — Address the main weakness**
Apply exactly one fix based on which dimension scored lowest:
- Success Score is low → add a guarantee.
- Time Score is high → lead with speed of delivery.
- Effort Score is high → lead with the hands-off nature of the work.

{{proposal}}

Once you know which one it is, fixing it is easy. If they don't believe the result is real, you add proof. If they think it'll take forever, you lead with week one. If it sounds like a lot of work, you show them how hands-off it is.

The whole thing takes about two minutes. Your proposal comes out the other side actually persuasive. Not just detailed.
